
MACEDONEAN CHRISTIAN SCHOOL (MCS) is much more than just a school. Our passion is to make it possible for every child with delayed emotional or academic development to reach their full potential and their God-given destiny.
MCS was founded to provide parents with an alternative to the mainstream school environment. We cater for:
- children with delayed emotional or academic development, visual learners struggling in an auditory system, or those who simply can not fit into the conventional large school environment.
- students being home schooled who need a more structured virtual class experience
- adults/young people who did not complete their matric
We endeavor to accomplish this by using:
- The Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) methodology of individualized learning for our Foundation Phase students. Learning Material is packaged in a self-instructional manner that minimizes a child’s dependence on adults for academic content. We can therefore accommodate each student’s individual needs by providing special therapy and remedial interventions, and practical skills.
- The international online General Education Diploma (done through Mobymax) for our students from grade 3 to 12.

Our vision is to give each student the opportunity to develop to his/her full ability – emotionally, socially, academically, spiritually.
Mission
To fulfill our Vision we:
- Instil Biblical values and Christian character into our students
- Appoint staff who are passionate about helping children with learning barriers
- Incorporate remedial interventions such as OT and speech as part of the activities of the school
- Create a safe environment conducive to learning and developing optimally
Values

Outreach – To reach out to those in need (Acts 16:9-10 – ERV)
Remedial – Giving each child a voice and the opportunity to develop to his/her full potential holistically (Jeremiah 17:7-8 – ERV)
Discipline – Creating a safe structured environment conducive to learning where Godly discipline is instilled based on biblical values and where bullying will not be tolerated (Hebrews 12:11 – ERV).
